I agree cats-claw.I am just saying be honest about the state of the BE and realize the Big 10
is far above the BE.The Bearcats are one coach removed from Tony Yates, and before him
Ed Badger.Cincy has great history but without a coach that mines the JC circuit for thugs
you guys would be excited to host an NIT game on a semi-regular basis

If Penn State was going to come "home", so to speak, to the East, they would have done it already. Penn State athletics have never been in worse shape. The truth is, at least from what I have read, is the decision to stay in the Big Ten has more to do with academics than athletics. I wouldn't look for the Nittany Lions to join the Big East any time soon.

I can't speak for Memphis but there is no way LPT would EVER let Louisville into the SEC. Presently the SEC is LPT and the 11 dwarves when it come to basketball. The Wildcats want to keep it that way. The SEC is so bad in hoops that USM, last place in CUSA, beat the first place team in the SEC West. Why would LPT want to add competition.

I assume you are a Tiger fan so you should know alot about the NIT! Cincy is going to the NCAA tournament this year while Memphis looks to be NIT bound for the third time in five Calipari seasons.

The university President of Penn State said no to the Big East when Miami & Virginia Tech withdrew from that conference.

Why would you want to be in the SEC? You are in the Big East. Already being touted as perhaps the greatest basketball league ever and the footbal league will be just fine.

We don't, I am very excited about the future of the Big East. Just waiting for the split to occur and then our future will really take off even if ND and Penn State say no to the EAC.

South Florida
Louisville
Cincinnati
Memphis
Syracuse
UConn
Rutgers
Pittsburgh
West Virginia
East Carolina

A nice solid Football league and a very strong basketball league in very good markets like the following:

Tampa/Saint Petersburg
Louisville
Memphis
Cincinnati
NYC
Hartford
Pittsburgh
ECU with the largest alumni in the state of North Carolina

first off why would the sec expand to 14 teams.
2nd why would those teams be memphis and loiusville. i see a wvu and texas a&m more compatible.

the big east is vulinarable until the split happens in 2010. as far as psu movin to the football league after the split. i really think its possible. but i dunno. i think dame and psu could enter the league as a package. i don't see a maryland leavin the acc.
