Touchdown VaTech!

On 3rd and 5 went to the endzone. Tremendous diving catch by number 19.

Call was overturned. Looked pretty indisputable to me. Don't like the call.

Kicker misses the field goal.

Went to sh@t pretty quick.

3rd and 5, the hokies stop him behind the line.

If UM makes the field goal, they win.

The kicker took a step forward before the ball was snapped. Isn't that a false start?

Well the holder has his knee down, isn't that a down? Certain leeway given since he's off the line and its a kicking play. didn't see it. **** I'm pissed.

Virginia Tech watched the Sun Bowl and said ... hey Paul ... we like that formula!

I thought going in that the 2 teams were evenly matched, and this game just confirms that to me. If the Sugar Bowl were played 10 times I think the record would be 5-5. Unfortunately the ball bounced toward the maize & blue jerseys last night. Congrats to Michigan!

I was pretty excited about how the defense played. I haven't seen that strong a performance in years. Which leads me to think we'll be good next year. Tons of injuries this year should lead to lots of defensive depth next year. Only how good will our Offensive line be losing 4 starters. David Wilson and Jayron Hosley are gone though. IMO.

I think Hosley has already announced. I don't think he's ready for the NFL. Has to get bailed out too much, and makes plenty of bad decisions. I think Wilson is gone as well, though I could see him coming back after last night's performance.

That was a fun trip to New Orleans. The VT fans had a strong showing on Bourbon Street and at the game despite naysayers. The call was typical of Pac12 officials. The game was disappointing for all the wasted opportunities but to have it reversed in OT like it was really ******. I think we may have seen the first benefits of the PAC/B1G alliance.

It was a close game. The last touchdown call in OT that was overturned could have gone either way. The ball touched the ground but the receivers hands were on both sides holding the ball.
I had a feeling at the start of the game, that VT really needed to score some touchdowns as they were dominating but they could only get field goals.

The game wasn't as close as the score indicated. VT kept making mistakes that let Michigan stay in it. Michigan couldn't do anything on offense.
