Any news on the release? It was supposed to be released two weeks ago.

This might be a good thing. From the description: "From the school’s very first team led by coach John L. Keith in 1899 to Dave Doeren’s most recent squad and its unforgettable trip to the 2012 GoDaddy.com Bowl." According to the original description, the book wasn't going to cover the entire 2011 season.

If the author does not have exclusivity agreements where it must be sold through selected dealers, I hope that NIU markets this book like crazy. It should be marketed by Athletics, sold in the bookstores, and offered for sale at all football games in the HASF tent. Local bookstores and retailers should feature and spotlight this book and have signings with the author and Dave Doeren and members of the team. It is a tremendous opportunity for marketing NIU Athletics!

To be honest, I don't know why more things aren't sold in the HASF tent. I would buy anything they sell. They had a couple items once, and that was it.

Still waiting as far as I know. Maybe there's going to be a chapter on the 2012 season.

It would be nice to get this! It's under $20 on amazon. It would also be nice to have available for sale at the home* opener.

It looks like it won't be released any time soon. I was contacted by Amazon and had to let them know if I still wanted to be on the wait list. They gave no indication of when the book will be available but said they will keep trying.

Don't know if it means anything but Overstock and Walmart.com both say it should ship by the end of September.

Still not in stock at Amazon. It was even removed from my cart.

However, does Tower books really have it in stock (Tower Books) for $79.45 while others will be selling it for between $20 and $25 when ever it gets into stock?

It does look like it has good pictures.

I guess the final chapter of this book will be written on January 1. Then hopefully we can finally buy it. Of course the publicity generated will help sales.

Who knows if the book will ever come out? I have ordered it from several places and no one has it - even the ones who advertise that it is stock.
