I am not seeing a problem with his effort. He sets a TON of screens for others. I will say Whittington is in better shape than Stain, but he only has to lug 220 lbs up and down the court whereas big Stain has to carry 290 each trip. It seems silly to criticize either of these two.

Yep!!!!!!

He blocked a shot about as clean as you could block it, and got called for the foul. He gave the ref the "your full of chit" hand motion. Players don't always get T'd up for it. Certainly made the game more interesting.

Watching it online it didn't look like he deserved it, unless he had a few choice word for the ref also.
It was the other ref that gave him the T. They were bad both ways but was shocked he made that call at that point in the game.

RE: Just WINthrop
Just got home from cheering the guys tonight. I don't have much a voice left but that doesn't affect my ability to type:) I am just wondering why so many fans just sit on their hands most of the game and don't show very much passion for the Broncos. As I have said, I did not graduate from WMU but I love rooting for the Broncos!

Some thoughts from the game include: good free throw shooting, nice bench production(How about Hayden hitting 2 big 3's!), Brandon went down with an ankle injury it appeared, Matt almost costing us the game with his attitude/ technical foul, DWard hitting a huge High-glass bank shoot with about 40 sec left when he had been fairly quiet most of the game, Shayne showing signs of life and another solid contribution, Mickey played rock solid and was giving Winthrop fits, overall improving defensive effort!

We are still undefeated at home and we are finding ways to win. Injuries are starting to mount and becoming a real concern as we try to move forward. It will be interesting to see how we perform at Oakland. Let's hope injuries are not too serious but I have my concerns esp about DBrown.

When we were dominate at home even at times last year the UA can get pretty loud. But we have spent a month on the road, no students in town, I have been shocked at how good attendance has been actually. When Mac schools start rolling in and we are in the race for the west it will pick up.

A lot depends on where you sit, I am sitting with the cake eaters this year and they need to make sure a medic is on hand cause this is an old ass group. I will probably go back over with my ilk for some up coming games.

Hawk's sister in law's daughter. Be careful, fellows.

Kimbo, not all of us "oldies" sit on our hands. You should sit next to us if you want to be involved, but you better sing the fight song too.

Dip, do you ever sing the fight song?

Always proud to be a Bronco.

My kids first words were "fight on fight on for Western", ask Dip, he knows them.

I am in row 12 just to the side of the away team. It is directly across from my old seats.

RE: Just WINthrop
Kimbo, that is the old section of that side. I have a couple of "sitting on the hands friends" that sit there. I'm over by the home bench three rows up, you will see me, banging on the bad refs all of the time.

Chip, you may know the words, I'm talking about actually singing them and being enthusiastic when it is played. PS, you are a dirty ole man for thinking that Hawk married the "wrong one". I gave up the match maker role after John Offerdahl. That is a long story.

Always proud to be a Bronco.
