Recruiting in Michigan

This can't be right, sounds high.

RE: Recruiting in Michigan
Mill Coleman's numbers are as over hyped as he was over rated. Mill, was MSU's version of Benny Clark, and a classic example of why one shouldn't get too excited over the majority of MI talent.

When I put in 2011, MI, commits only, HS, Prep, JC, it returned 65 results. That's right in the neighborhood where we're always at.

It's an Albion thing, leaving that is. If you're from Albion, like I am, you'd understand why folks of all types are fleeing. Another great athlete near that era, Dean Hobson, left to go to either Huron or Pioneer to finish up his HS BB career. He ended up at "M".

David Washighton? Stayed. He was great until he met Weber in the semi finals. We lost to him by 1 and 2 points my senior year of high school. Of course actual school caught up with him in college. I remember him playing football as a freshman.

David was mostly big which will take you a long way in HS BB.

I think so. Milton Barnes former Albion College all-American and former HS coach at Albion was an asst. at Minnesota.

Too high by a factor of two, I'd think.

Lot of hype for a commercial venture.

RE: Recruiting in Michigan
Coleman and his buddy trying to make a living off the backs of Michigan HS kids - camps, travelling 7-on-7 all-stars, this combine-type thing.

Needless to say I don't like it.

For this particular scam though you'd think they would low-ball the number of D-I schollies to attract more interest.

Guess just shows they don't know what the he11 they're doing.

Rivals had Michigan at 59. 150 would be 5th in the nation, just ahead of Ohio (144). So....yeah, no.
