Just read on Twitter a WR was transferring out of UC...didn't catch a name though. Anybody heard anything?

Man, that is discouraging. He was all about UC coming in and was expected to make an impact almost immediately. Any clues on what happened? i thought UC was going to go for a medical r/s?

Yeah not a real surprise there. He really struggled this year adjusting to college from what I've heard (Typical for a lot of freshman, most just choose to stick it out). Kind of ashame he didn't stick it out for a bit longer as he was likely going to get a redshirt and still have 4 years to play. He would have eventually gotten some PT around his junior year or so. Would have made a nice slot after McClung graduated. That said, where is he going to go? Or is he just giving up football? I guess he could land at a MAC school or something.

Upsetting to see him go. Wonder if he was upset over PT? I mean, he was a true frosh so it's tough to be too upset. Maybe just homesick?

From what I gather on his Twitter is he seems to be a homebody. Loves being in Cleveland. Weird though because he seemed to adjust to school alright. Said he was one of the players on the Dean List this quarter. Who knows. Very disappointing though.

PS. I wonder if this weighs on Jeremy Graves ultimate decision to sign?

Yeah I think he was probably homesick and didn't adjust very well to being away from home. I dont think it had anything to do with PT as he likely would have played quite a bit at UC in another year or two.

That is one I am really sorry to see leave. Best of luck to him.

Disappointing to hear. He sounded very excited to be a Bearcat, but things don't always work out. Wish him the best wherever he goes.

Noticed that Shaq's name has been removed from the roster on gobearcats.com. I also noticed that Stephen Weatherford is no longer listed either. Anyone hear anything? Would make more sense why we grabbed Norvell now.

If that's true, why would he be forced out?

Can't imagine he was 'forced' out as a true frosh who Butch recruited. Not his choice could be a lot of things (family, etc.)

im thinkin it was family/he just didnt feel right.. still likes bearcat nation as far as I can tell.. but doesnt know what hes gonna end up doing

Both Shaq and Weatherford are done. Neither will participate in Liberty Bowl practices.
