There ain't enough liquor in the Big Sleazy to get 35000 Cajuns hammered.

I figure that winning does a lot more to fix things like that than message boards do. If we win on a national stage then things like names and such will come as the respect builds.

It must be a strange phenomenon considering what has transpired the past few days on here

I could be wrong here but doesnt Louisville refer to themselves as U of L instead of UL?

Not mad, just need to educate.

Louisville does not have exclusive rights to UL. Plus, they go by U of L.
Texas is UT. So is Tennessee. Both orange. Both also use "T".
Oklahoma State is OSU. So is Oregon State. Both black & orange.
Michigan is UM and uses an "M". So does Missouri.

There are other examples, but the point is made.
We are LOUISIANA and UL. Why is that so hard for people to accept?
