Not that I won't support him or I'm calling for his job but I now have serious doubts about his abilities and the way he's running this program than I really had before. It's actually been a culmination of things really. The weird radio show the other night, the talk of the players first program, etc.

The free throw problem, which he continues to brush off, is maddeningly frustrating at this point. It flat out cost us a national championship last year ( not to mention whatever the hell he was letting Knight do...maybe going on his own personal crusade against Kemba Walker?). The road record is maddening. The one smart thing he did do today was finally put Teague on the bench to start the half and you know what? Bravo, it worked! Teague played extremely well down the stretch and under control.

I'm not even going to touch that last series. Having no one on the lane? And I have zero clue as to what we were doing on that last possession defensively. He can continue to blame youth (and the fans seem to agree with it for some reason) but like somebody pointed out to me today you can't use an excuse for something you champion to begin with.

That doesn't mean success can't be right around the corner or things won't change but I just don't see him as the uber perfect coach for UK who can do no wrong anymore. I see his flaws, see the mistakes and see some costly errors. With his current paradigm recruiting and the NBA rule still in effect how many chances is he ever going to have for a team like this? A team where two guys like Jones and Lamb turn down the possibility of turning pro because of the fear of a lockout (any other notions are foolish imho.), a star freshman class and an upperclassman like Miller?

This isn't to say this year won't turn out great but I'm starting to have my doubts.

They should have known what they were getting when they hire him. He's not perfect, but a step up from anything they've had in years. They will be worst once he moves on from his dream job.

Its the final stage of grief... Some are just grieving more than others.
As a side note, I do not miss the whinning to the refs and that sarchastic a$$ smile and clap when one of his players makes a mistake.

Yep.... We may as well stop playing an give the Wildcats the trophy. after all Indiana is ranked.....uhhhh, where are they ranked? Well lets see, they should be right around 16.....19.......24 WTH!!!!!! Indiana is unranked. What!!!! the projected #1 number 1 seed lost to an unranked team so says the fat look alike Alfred E. Neuman(Mad magazine) king of Bracketology, Joe Lunardi. Yep, him the one that said we were a train wreck last year after we won the conference Tournament. The little fat salt pouring Bast%#d........Must I digress further.

His legacy will always be more offensive than defensive though......if you know what I mean....
