Well he did at least link an article and offered smething to discuss. You just hurled an insult at ECU that wasn't at all on the topic of his link. Wow, seems like the BE allowed Boise State to basically dictate whatever terms they wanted to get them into the league. I wonder if the other new additions got similar terms or if it was only Boise. Looks like there is a lot of trust and everyone is on the same page. I'm sure it's gonna work out great!

Sarcastic comments about "Marketing" how the BE is "DEAD" and how they wont get any bigger TV offer than that of what ESPN asked them because...what was it? Those Conf USA teams that the BE picked up didn't help them with a big TV contract how are they going to help the BE?

When TCU announced their move to the BIG XII their fanbase said sorry it didn't work out guys, we wish you the best of luck and went on their way. Some still post in the BE board without actually insulting any institution for their "unworthiness."

I never said I didn't make comments like that on occasion. Like I said, it's been relentless attacks on ECU going WAY back on this board. I'm not gonna lie we're a bunch of haters and we've got a BIG chip on our shoulder. It's in our blood, love us or hate us, we really don't care but we speak our mind. In all honestly I meant everything I said in that post and I make no apologies for it. Truthfully ECU and the BE have nothing in common, we'd be a worse cultural fit than.....well Boise State. The whole thing just became comical to me.

Anyways, we all understand how passionate you pirates are but your passion turns into arrogance and that arrogance turns you into a bunch of A-holes who think the world revolves around ECU and that the world DOES OWE ECU something. Obviously humility does not come with ECU fans. When others, not just BE folks, confront you or call your BS, you all get on the defensive and continue to spew more garbage. Oh yeah, I actually am a Big college football fan or else I wouldn't be on these boards. The great thing about coming from a school with no FBall is I can watch these teams without any bias. Go to the BE boards and read some of my swipes at the BE FBall schools because of their lack of on field success then they have the audacity to blame the BBall onlys for it...I'm like wtf, the BBall schools were not responsible because you couldn't win the game on Saturdays. I was actually one of the bigger advocates for ECU to join the BE but then you guys just went on a rampage about how your more deserving and how the BBall schools are responsible for the downfall of the BE. Just had to bring you guys down a few pegs and will continue to unless I see some humility from some of your posters...

For God sakes man, no ECU fans believe we're all "high and mighty." We have to go through that with UNC and NC State fans all of the time. There have been PLENTY ( including me) of Pirate fans that have commended Boise State, UCF, UH, and SMU on moving up to an AQ conference (until 2014 that is). Some fans are bitter, but some of these people are high donors within the University who have given thousands of dollars to try to further the sports programs at ECU. I'm not writing a sob story, but that's the fact of the matter.

If you had actually comprehended my last post, you would understand that message board posters make up about .5% of our entire fan base. After all, it is a MESSAGE BOARD.

Oh I comprehended your last post, that .5% is a good indication of what your fanbase is. How many DePaul fans do you know are on this board? Hint, there is only one other...and his name starts with Frank and ends with The Tank. Are we a good indication of what DePaul fans are? From what you and all the other ECU posters say, you guys are very passionate about your program, I mean how many times do we have to see your attendance numbers? But believe it or not you guys carry the ECU name and how you carry yourselves with that Pirate banner is indicative of how your fans are,....unless only the A-hole Pirate fans ( the .5%) are currently being represented on this board right? If that .5% is what people see and they happen to be A-holes, then everyone will perceive ECU fans as A-holes. Seeing how there are many arguments between ECU fans and other fans, its fair to say that ECU now has a rep of having A-hole fans...because of that .5%. Congratulations.
