doooooooosh

Can we assume that this "nickname" is intended to be some type of insult? I see that as a direct violation of the rules of the board. You've used the words "idiots" toward people who are fairly well educated on the issues. Now, you are taunting Pitt? Do you intend to just prod away until he flies off the handle and lashes out so he'll be banned again? Is that the game?

It's ok to disagree. It's fine to be critical of the opinions and facts that we've been discussing for the past 8 years BUT your taunting and slinging of degrading "names" should not be tolerated. You might want to take a look at the "rules of the board" that ETSUFan1 has posted. You are close to his line, of not already past it.

youre right. good luck with your efforts...go bucs

I *had* been wondering who created this message board. Glad that mystery is solved.

I was pretty sure Swagger created this site. I am also pretty sure the messageboard carried on with normal traffic flow while Pitt was gone as well. We got along all this time without Mommabear and we got along just fine without Pitt. He needs this board alot more then we need him. Seems like he should create a blog of his own and see what kind of traffic he can get, not lay claim to a board someone else started.

Not comparing Momma to Pitt but both were prolific posters on the old board who would often dominate topics, Pitt usually by sheer volume of posts.

Surely that can't be the case (about Swagger creating this board). If that were the case, why would Pitt**** say he created it. That wouldn't make sense...

Oh Rod, you hurt me. I heard my name evoked a couple of times in order to put out some factual types of information. I had my own plants and sphere of influence, so I was never really gone.

I come in peace this time, I just get way to hyped up when I see the misinformation and distortions taken as gospel. You and I are good, we'll have a cold-frosty someday. 04-cheers

Small, small world. He's one of my favorite people in the world. I've known him since high school. His brother Marvin was one of my closest friends. I still feel a hole in my heart from his death. I saw a Facebook picture of Anthony taking Marvin's son Timmy Bow Hunting! That's so great, Marvin is smiling on his Brother.

I have known Anthony pretty much my whole life, I lived just up the street from Marvin and Anthony as a kid.

You'd think sponsors would balk at a horrible announcer, and in many places they would.

But let me ask- did ETSU lose any sponsors from Chuck Jones? I'm not sure they did. I don't know of any.

Hold on to that thought. I think we can all agree that David Mullins is a really horrible athletic director, correct?

Then please explain to me how Mullins has been a spokesman for Johnson City Honda.

I want you to name for me an athletic director- not a football coach/AD but solely an athletic director- who you can remember doing any kind of pitchman work like that. Anywhere.

Yeah. Didn't think so.

But if there is one, I can assure you he isn't the AD who oversaw the demise of the local university's football program.

Anywhere else, that AD would be Art Modell in Cleveland. He'd be George Shinn in Charlotte. He'd be Walter O'Malley in Brooklyn.

Here, the Honda dealer not only wants the AD to be their spokesman, they want "The AD Who Cut Football" to be their spokesman!!!!!!

And the amazing thing is we allow it. Could you imagine "Brooklyn Chevy" not taking someone like Jackie Robinson or Abe Stark to be their spokesman but instead Walter O'Malley in 1958?

If, in some sort of madness, they did, "Brooklyn Chevy" would be out of business overnight.

Why doesn't that happen here?

So anywhere else, yes, sponsors would balk at a horrible announcer.

Here- they wouldn't do- and haven't- a damn thing.

F%%% off Marky, everything you claim to have done is only in your twisted little mind. I didn't read the above rant because it was from Pitt, it made no damn sense it was just him patting himself on the back because nobody else will. Believe what you want but I really think the man has serious mental issue.

I have moved the post that Rod is so upset about to the Bartow meme thread in page 10.

"F%%%% off." Classy and insightful. Yes, you're the bigger man than I.

Doesn't really refute me, but it does show that my game plan has worked to fruition for I have REALLY gotten under your skin.

And you don't do that by lying, boys and girls. You do it by telling the truth that others are uncomfortable with- be it Rod about my role on this board or ETSU administration by questioning the direction of the program.

I am tired of of reading your stupid stuff on this board only trying to advance yourself. Like I have said and you have ignored, you think it is all about YOU then YOU start you own damn site and see how the traffic goes. Build your own soapbox to preach from instead of leeching on to someone elses work and trying to claim it as your own. Man up and show some balls, show us. Like I said you need this board way more then it needs you.

Not that far away from what you're talking about, Rod, but that's another story.

Regardless, I haven't leeched off anyone else's work. Unlike, say, Brian T. Smith.

What I have done is posted on here and it's caught on, and why you have a problem with that, I don't know.
