Coach Bryd will be the 12th Titan
It seems Coach Byrd will be the 12th Titan for the Titans game Sunday. Not the biggest career achievement, but will be the largest crowd he's ever been in front of.

Edit...For anyone who doesn't know what the 12th Titan is for the Titans, here's the link and it helps explain it. article

I hate the freaking Saints. Hopefully he brings something extra to the game.

RE: Coach Bryd will be the 12th Titan
I was at the Titans game today. I won't go into what a heartbreak it was, or how dumb Saints fans are, but they made a really nice presentation out of Byrd being the 12th man. I was sitting in the endzone that they raise the flag up behind, so I had a great view of all of it. Before he raised the 12th man flag, they had a video montage of Byrd's accomplishments with Belmont's basketball program. It was great to see him out in the community and getting Belmont's name out to a giant audience.

The unfortunate thing was to really see how little community support that Belmont basketball has. I was obviously yelling for Byrd, but I couldn't see anyone in site who seemed to care other than myself. In fact, the majority of the people probably had no idea who he was (*given, there were a ton of Saints fans there that as I implied, are the dumbest fans in NFL football along with Steelers fans).

Nashville's a hard market to capture since there are so many people living here that didn't grow up in the area (including myself), but hopefully as the school grows and builds a larger alumni base, Belmont basketball's footprint will become larger. I would love to see the Curb look like it does for the Battle of the Boulevard game every time Belmont plays. Unfortunately, we are a long way away from this dream.
