Story: Dumas Picks USA
Until we get our network status squared away (it is in the works), I'll be posting stories in their appropriate thread.
Mike Dumas, a 6'2" 185lb defensive back from Island Coast High School in Cape Coral, Florida, has decided to cast his lot with the South Alabama Jaguars. Dumas, who registered 30 tackles, one interception and six passes defensed as a cornerback, is projected to play safety for the Jaguars.
"I chose South Alabama over my other offers be cause they showed me the most on the field," said Dumas. "I felt they can keep me on the road academically and help me be a better football player in the end."
Dumas picked South Alabama over offers from his two other finalists, FIU and North Carolina, in addition to many others he received over the course of his recruitment.

I didn't think it would be long before we were signing guys that the AQ schools wanted.
But this is pretty quick. Big promises I'm sure!

This is an excellent pick-up. Offer list aside. He's an aggressive, physical player. He has some CB cover skills, so he has a nice ceiling as a rangy, hard-hitting safety with some ability to man-up ability.
