How do you spend black Friday?
All the men in my family(brother, father, uncles, cousins, adding a female cousin's new fiancee this year) are about to head out to the range to shoot sporting clays, a tradition now in it's fourth year.
I was out for a beer with one of my cousins last night and realized I needed to pick up some shells, so I stopped off at Wal Mart, that place was nuts. I intended on just grabbing some shells and getting out, but they had a crazy sale on DVD/Blu Rays. Grabbed Quantum of Solace and Gran Torino both on Blu Ray for $5 each.

Well, a pot of coffee, some bacon and eggs, over to a friends house to drink beer and watch LSU Arkansas. Pretty much the same tomorrow except a couple of friends are coming here and drinking beer and watching Auburn Alabama.
One place you won't find me? At any friggin' store dealing with all the idiots who think they are getting some sort of great deals and dealing with all the BS that accompanies that!!

Just got back from the range. Had a great time, finished 2nd to my cousin who's won every year now, but closed the gap considerably. Hoping to take him down next year.

I haven't. Pretty much shoot 12 gauge exclusively, though my father does have a pretty extensive gun collection and I have shot his civil war era replica muzzle loader a few times, that thing is a blast. I only own the one twelve gauge and unfortunately only get out with it about once a year, though today I was trying to talk up making this a twice a year tradition and going sometime in the spring as well.
What we shoot is ''sporting clays" which if you're unfamiliar, which I was until a few years ago, is commonly referred as golf with a shotgun. The course consists of different stations and at each station there are two remote controlled trap machines that fire a pair of targets from different locations. The course we played today some stations you got two pairs, some three and some four. At the end of the day you tally your hits. It's my favorite way to shoot personally, I haven't done anything but sporting clays in the last four years.

We went to Harry Potter World in Orlando last Friday. I wasn't sure what to expect, but we actually had a pretty good time. And holy crap, that butterbeer is like liquid crack. My wife bought a bunch of stuff, including the different flavored jelly beans (don't remember the "technical" term for em). It was freaking hilarious sitting around later that night with the drinks flowing, giving the table various horrible tasting jelly beans and watching reactions. I think rotten eggs and earthworm were the clear winners. Other flavors, besides the actually tasty ones, were dirt, soap, earwax, boogers, black pepper, and vomit.

735 am Flight. Lafayette, LA-Tucson Arizona. Arrived approx. 2pm MTN. Drove to hotel. Relaxed a bit. Wife and I and another couple went to a place called McMahons Steakhouse. 20 ribeye, creamed spinach, broiled tomatoes topped of by a few glasses of Woodford Reserve. Retired to the cigar bar, met some really neat Arizona fans. Smoked some fine sticks, drank a bit of Frangelico......actually drove back to hotel....retired for the night.
Black Friday??? a good time was had by all :)
