A couple of bounces the other way in the Troy and East Carolina games, and we would be playing for bowl eligibility.

Everything in life has it's advantages and disadvantages. I have always been one to look for the advantages rather than the disadvantages. Winning six games would have been nice and going to a bowl nicer, but then we would have probably stuck with Callaway for another year or two. Hopefully we will not have put up with yet another miserable season in vain and we get our new coach.

A couple of bounces the other way and the HMS Titanic makes New York Harbor.

We win.

I hope you're right. I'd hate to see UAB go out as the last notch on Schnellenberger's "gun" . But I'd said the same thing about the Tulane game that you posted and look what happened. This game will be tougher to win than anyone thinks. Even though they're 0-10, by this being Schnellenberger's last game, there will be a fight in FAU to pull this one out that they didn't even know they had. UAB's not had an "easy" game all season, even the Memphis game was an "instant classic."

Everyone on this year's schedule had their "game faces" on for the Blazers, every single darn one of them! I don't see this one as any different. I hope our fellas bring the fight, because that's exactly what I'm expecting in this one - A fight!!!

RE: UAB at FAU
As someone stated this isn not Schnellenbergers last game. We have one more home game next week against ULM.

Our offense is BEYOND horrible with the exception of Alfred Morris our stud running back. Our 1st, 2nd and 3rd string QB's cannot throw the ball with any semblance of accuracy and our WR/TE's are realtive newbies. This has lead to the disaster that is the FAU offense. You cannot run a pro set if those peices are not firing.

Our D is better then it looks, they are sharp, fast, and agile. They are just on the field constantly since the O is horrific.

My only hope is that UAB is riding high after thier great win. Perhaps they will not prepare for the worst team in FBS.

I think you all win by at least 17 points.

Have they still got the guy at WR that our guys made look like Jerry Rice? He led the nation in yards and TDs for a week after they beat us, and I thought he was be an all-pro by now.

Not sure who it was, but most of our WR/TE graduated so I'm assuming hes gone.

Only thing we have right now is the new OCS. Its awsome but it sure would be nice to see a team that can win in it. I hope your guys stadium issues get resovled soon. I cant tell you how nice it is to have a new home on campus.

Only 2 more weeks till FAU gets its new coach.

I was mistaken. I thought this was their last game of the season.

I made the same mistake a couple of times this year and was corrected every time. Just seems late to finish out a season in December, doesn't it? Especially a regular season (not Conference Championship) game.

Not me.

FAU is exploring whole new vistas of ineptitude. Our kids have tasted victory and have decided they like it. In the game with the fewest cosmic implications this week, Blazers cruise.

Blazers by 15, 27-12. We hold FAU to 2 FGs, a TD and a botched 2 pt attempt. Our young receiving corp has gotten the message and have started catching the ball over the last 5 games.
