Now that he is a Bengal, I'd like to know what the attitude problem is, and whether or not he'll turn into another Bengal malcontent.

Chris is a very immautre young man...In 2003 in was in vogue for the WVU football team to fold there arms and pose after scoring a TD, but somewhere between 2003 and 2004 the BE officie decided the such moves were personal fouls...of course WVU got penalized a lot in BE games because of the unannounced rule change but Chris did it constantly even after it was general knowledge that such antics now warrented a penalty.....when West Virginia played at Rutgers last yr Chris was ejected from the game for two unsportsmenlike conduct penalties and then proceeded to flip off the jeering Rutgers fans has he headed to the locker room...of course he was later suspended by RichRod.....throughout his career Chris never talked to the media (thankfully!)....untill the pre-gator bowl press conference in which he ripped BE offensive player of the yr Rasheed Marshall by saying he would have put up better #s if he had a "real QB"

-- However...with that being said Chris Henry may be the most talented WR in WVU history....he's 6'4" and can run a 4.5 and could dominate on the college level when he wanted to...his 2003 game against Syracuse in which he had 220 + recieving yards and beat the Orange double teams with ease was amazing to watch.....the kid can play if someone can screw his head on right

I was at that Cuse/WVU game in the Dome. It was the hardest hitting game I have ever watched. Henry was the main reason you came from behind to beat us in that game.

I was impressed with the fine turnout of 'Eers that day. You guys must of been 3-4,000 strong. Not bad for a 7 hour trip. I hope other teams take your lead and travel.

The crazy thing about that game is Rasheed probably only had 240 yrs passing but 220 of those went to Henry....every time we dropped back to pass the ball went Chris's way

-- I would expect larger #s from WVU this yr....the game is early in the yr with no threat of snow and its on a three day weekend...unfortuantly the team we are sending up is probably not as good

Actually the game in November was a beautiful sunny, weekend with temps in the low 50s. But I understand most people fear driving to Upstate NY after Halloween due to a possibility of snow.

BTW, the biased consensus from Syracuse is Cuse's defense may be the best in the league. The offense on the other hand.... 03-confused

I certainly hope the defense is the best in the league, after last years performance in a couple of blowout games. I was at the spring game this past weekend. The defense looked ok. the offense was horrid. Joe Fields is still terrible with his short range passes, even grounding a couple of passes. Perry patterson is only a little better.

That soph. Matt Hale maybe very good. I know he went against Cuse's 2nd string defense, but when he entered with like 8 minutes to go, the offense was down 22-3 to the defense. When time expired, the score was 34-30. The defense still won, but he put the offense in a position to win with his long bombs. I still think our defense is going to be vulnerable against long range passes.

No one travels in the BE like WVU. Their fans are by far the most loyal. No one is going to miss Chris Henry. I hope he takes advantage of the opportunity the pros are giving him. He is a head case. Can he straighten out his life? Stayed tuned to another episode of the ......

MLBUC....here is a Chris Henry highligt that I dug up....took place in 2003 game @ Miami....again because of the size and speed he could beat double teams in college fairly easily

Chris Henry ..just click on the Chris Henry--Miami icon...like I said above the kid can play if someone screws his head on straight

I think Cardinal fans can say somethoing in that regards as well. Shoulda seen the contingent we had in NC and in Miami last year. I was at both. We nearly took over Chicago when we played @ DePaul this year.

Marvin won't put up with Henry's bull****. Plus Chris will be learning from one of the best in Chad Johnson. This kid will be a star IMO.

I'm not counting on it. I think UL will travel fine to Cinci and WVU and Pitt but I doubt you'll travel in significant numbers to the more eastern locales. UL was lucky to have 200 fans at Syracuse in 2003. It was one of the smallest visiting sections of fans ever seen i the Dome. I think it will not be a problem just associated with UL. The eastern teams will not travel in large numbers to UL and Cinci. One way car trips of 10-13 hours is just too much driving.
