GAO testimony on EPA
http://www.gao.gov/new.items/d12236t.pdf

You really think these guys should be in charge of greenhouse gas emissions? They can't even manage their own buildings.

And I love this
Quote:Finally, in our July 2011 report on EPA’s laboratory enterprise we recommended, among other things, that EPA develop a coordinated planning process for its scientific activities and appoint a top-level official with authority over all the laboratories, improve physical and real property planning decisions,

Uh, then what exactly is the job of the top Administrator?

Apples and oranges. Scientist and management are two different skill sets. Just glanced through the linked GAO repot, but the suggestions seem logical to me.

Well I need to go to my community garden plot now and harvest some crops. May even hug some trees when walking home.

So, scientists take their direction from management.

You also missed the other problems pointed out in the testimony.
