I was looking over the list of who plays different sports sponsored by the conference. IF the conference were to split half, I think it would maybe cause some problems for a few conference sports, i.e. field hockey, lacross, and maybe others. These teams would be left short of the minimum participants to have a conference and would have to look elsewhere for conference homes if I'm not mistaken. Are members of Big East looking into expanding sports to meet the need of the conference. I would think this would be expensive.

I am not sure schools will just add sports, but they probably will drop some and add others. If you start seeing this sort of thing happening, I would guess that it is a sure sign of a future split.

We have a pretty formidible men's club lacrosse team at ECU that I'm sure could be elevated in status if we had the means to do so.....

...and I can guarantee that ECU would be licking it's lips to reinstate the ECU wrestling program.....

SO #1,

Excellent job. Well done.

Slight correction to SU's list. As much as I wish SU had a men's baseball team, we do not. Substitute Men's Rowing for that and I believe it is accurate for SU.

Cheers,
Neil
