don't see this posted yet, but Kevin Pittsnogle has declared for the NBA draft. He hasn't signed with an agent, so hopefully he is just testing the waters and will be back next year. We will see. In any event, I wish the best for him. Hope to see him in a WV uniform next year, though.

Does anyone in Morgantown really believe this guy will stay in the draft? He had a great post-season, no doubt, but there are just too many top-notch players already entered. He'd be a late 2nd-round pick IMHO, if he gets picked at all. I have no doubt that Louisville will have to again figure out a way to slow him down in 2005-2006.

KP is doing exactly what he should. Go to NBA camps, see how he fairs against great competition. If he is sure to be a 1st round pick and get a guaranteed contract he should go for it. If not, he knows what the NBA teams think he needs to work on, and will have a year to do just that.

KP will be back. He isnt a first round pick. Defense is lacking at this point. He should come back, work on his D, be with a good team and enjoy his senior season in Motown.

This is not true. Pittsnogle said personally that he is coming back next season.

Well, it's just a sign that your program is on the upswing. Players declaring early is a problem that the big boys suffer....Welcome to the club. You've arrived. I personally hope he stays. One more marquee player for the league, maybe the difference between five or six more wins for WV. Good for your program, good for the conference.
