For all of you naysayers give the kids a break.Remember these are 18-21 year old kids. They have new coach, and a new system to get adjusted to.Mike Hunt, Owlnation and Ilm 2011, you guys must be perfect with no faults at all.Probably never played any organized basketball and have no clue what these kids have to go through.Rather than continue to drag these kids down show some support. You all seem to be fair weathered fans, when we win you are on board and when we lose you jump ship.Either support the team at all times or get off the pot.

Until we know more about what happened with Cummings it is fruitless to talk bad about him. Hopefully Preston will get everyone on the same page.

First off I support the team every season and I understand that they are in a new system and its going to take time to get used to , but that said when someone is shooting 6 for 32 it isn't a system problem its just shooting struggles. So forgive me for wanting to see someone else on the court taking shots until dixon can get a rhythm going.

Hahaha. I got a great laugh out of this. Good to know that some fans are complacent with a 8 win team.

@ MikeHunt says: "Can compete in A-Sun. Teams with legit size are going to give trouble until Green is back."

That's part of the problem, for sure. Strength and conditioning and adjusting to the new style of play are factors as well, but I hear you. I think, sometimes, size can be blown out of proportion.

There's also a lack of depth on this team, currently. Saying that, once they get a little deeper in the season, they should be in better shape. Like I mentioned before, this offense is about constant movement and that takes some experience to get used to compared to where they were.

Hopefully, Dixon has missed all the shots he's going to miss, this season, in the first couple of games (only kidding, I know he'll miss some more). He's not a bad shooter, but at some point when it's not going in for you, you've got to help your team in other ways. Maybe getting into the flow of the game helps him settle in and find his shot.

Next game is winnable and if they move the ball and play together, they've got a shot!......no pun intended.
