The Streak Broken
Perhaps one of the biggest unknown facts of the year involving ASU is that its first 8 opponents all won the week after they played ASU.
The streak finally ended tonight when FIU beat FAU. It had been challenged a few times previously, UCA, and WKU had scares the week after they played us (Interestingly, neither have lost since our game...though WKU is about to. UCA finished 8-3 on the year beating Texas State today) and FIU needed OT the next week, but UNT's win this afternoon had kept it alive...till FAU lost.

Sorry, I don't share your disappoint with that one.
In fact, very happy to add to the owls woes.

it extends after the bye too. UNT had a bye after ASU and still won today against Troy. I fully believe you guys can beat Arizona. They are terrible.

FIU will likely get a second straight win against teams coming off a game to the Red Wolves when they visit Murfreesboro in two weeks.
