Baylor looking at new football stadium
For those who don't know, Baylor currently plays in a off-campus football stadium. Baylor is looking at building a new on-campus football stadium and released some preliminary renderings yesterday. Things are still early in the planning, and nothing has been approved yet. But it looks like Baylor is at least serious enough to have renderings done.

The stadium looks very interesting. Kinda like a baseball stadium. I like the idea of some coverage of the stands all the way around. The location seems to be about I-35 and on the north side of the Brazos River. I would have thought they would build it a little east of there accross from their baseball park. Il'l bet that is a giant statue of Grant Teaff out there on the patio behind the B A Y L O R sign.

I like the idea of coverage on the stands as well, a lot of international stadiums use awnings but it hasn't really caught on in the US up to this point.

Yep, 9-3 and bowl bound with wins over TCU, Texas, Tex Tech, Rice in state and OU and undefeated at home all year by the way.
