RE: Bowl Eligibility Countdown
So, a BYU win means what? 5 MAC teams bowling or 4 with a possibility of a 5th??

RE: Bowl Eligibility Countdown
Big East should be short 1 team for its obligations, please correct me if i'm wrong.

That means either the BBVA or the St. Pete should be open for MAC/SBC/at-large.

Nevada & Utah State both win their 7th games. This makes it all the more essential for Hawaii to lose for a 5th MAC bowl opportunity.

RE: Bowl Eligibility Countdown
Hawaii now out.

72 Teams for 70 slots.

Most everyone agrees 6-6 BALL ST will be outside looking in.
The other will likely be a team with a winning record, either WESTERN KENTUCKY, WESTERN MICHIGAN, TEMPLE, or TOLEDO.

It's a shame one of those schools will be left out, given silver spoons such as 6-6 ILLINOIS and 6-7 UCLA, both who have fired their coaches and whose best excuse to accept bowl bids is for the extra practices.

Yeah right, Toledo and temple are locks over WMU, WKU, or FIU.

RE: Bowl Eligibility Countdown
Its pretty impossible for Toledo to be a lock for a bowl game over FIU. We already accepted a bowl invite so that statement makes absolutely no sense.

My statement was basically if FIU is in, then so are we... Regardless when u get the invite.

What makes no sense it replying to a post written before that invitation and applying the results of the present as comparison to attempt to knock it down.

The implied message is (should be) very clear.

Congrats on the Bowl, FIU and let's hope that Hilton's Hammie is 100% for the bowl.
