I guess we don't understand Ebonics. Our bad. I guess part of ebonics is where you point out something to make a non-point... Is this how the conversation goes in Mississippi over a banana moon pie and RC Cola?

"Bearegard, didja know, Spanish is not the official language in Houston?"

"Weeaall, I do declare! I did not know that!"

"Guess what else... Spanish is not the official language on Mars."

"Really? Beuford, how'd you get so dern smart?"

"I went to Southern Miss. Pass the cracklin's."

How the heck you don't know the difference between a Beauregard and a Boudreaux??

Enough with the Pasta jokes. It's old.
It's better than the typical S. Miss. dish of Spam on White bread and fake cheese with pork rinds, moon pie and an RC cola.
No, Bugles don't count as a vegetable.
Chillax and find a different site.
03-puke

as opposed to Tacos, chulapas and churros...the typical dish in Houston....and no Spanish isnt the official language even though you better know it if you want to live in Houston....see I can do that also..
Yes, yes and yes!!!! That sounds aewsome!
I am 4th generation Texan and you know what? It's okay to speak Spanish here. It's cool, heck this was Mexico at one point.
I guess we should change the names of some cities in Texas err (Tejas) just to suit you? San Antonio will be forever changed to Saint Anthony, El Paso will now be referred as the The Pass and Amarillo will now just be Yellow all to please the hicks from a state that was named after an Indian tribe. Shut up!

Oh how original and if anything spam would be fried and served on rye bread with swiss. Pork rinds? No, that would be cracklin, but then I guess over in Houston they don't do the real thing. Moon Pie, only at Mardi Gras and only the banana ones, and that would be an RahhC cola. No one eats bugles anymore, and not sure what the hell Chillax is, I guess sort of like X lax for Houstonians that had a little to much Nutria in their diet.

True
