Care to expand on that?

Look at a globe. (Not a map; it won't give you the real picture.). Hawaii is far too distant to be acceptable as a conference opponent to any of the eastern time zone schools.

Hartford to Boise is 2,190 miles. That's already crazy. Boise to Honolulu is 2,835 miles further. Even with charter flights, that translates into 12 hours on an airplane.

The Big East football coaches won't let it happen.

So there is a limit for the BE? Who knew? I thought they would just take anyone, anywhere.

Maybe the Big East is going to use the exit fees to buy a Concorde out of a boneyard.:tomcat:

People are getting ridiculously carried away. Boise State wants BYU to join and the winds are starting to shift in that direction on the campus walkways of Provo. None of those other MWC teams will be added to the Big East in football, especially since there will be absolutely no place to stash their basketball and minor sports, so folks need to just chill with the craziness. It's like some posters caught a disease called Expansion Fever, or something, and desperately want to combine the entire MWC with the Big East. Not happening.

I am curious as to why you think UW is in the running? No one else has mentioned the pokes.

You thought the ECU and USM fans were pissed now, wait if Wyoming get that 12th BE spot. We may lose a few posters to a stroke, suicide, or diabetes.
