If you have a vacation day or sick day today is the day to take it. Today UAB, alumni, fans, friends, students, The City of Birmingham, Jefferson County, The state of Alabama and future Blazers need you. Today will be the most important day in UAB history since Gene Bartow was hired.
Today is a day future citizens if Birmingham, future Blazers will look back on and say today is the day Blaze hurls a stone from his sling with all his might and strikes the mighty BOT in the center of the forehead. Today is the day UAB stands up for not only itself but for everyone in this city, county, and even state. Today is the day UAB says we have had all we can stand and we are not going to take it anymore. Today is a call to arms.
They say no one cares about UAB much less UAB football. Today is the day we prove them all wrong. Future generation will talk about the stand UAB took today. Future generation will ask us to tell the story of the bus trip to Tuscaloosa. Tell us about the ride for freedom by Frenchy. Tell us what happened in Tuscaloosa.
Today is the day we show them people do care about UAB. All they have done is galvanize the Blazer nation and unite them like never before. All they have done is push the wrong people one too many times. All they have done is awoken a sleeping giant.

If you have a day off or a sick day use it and join us in Tuscaloosa. Time to unleash the Dragon. God Bless and safe travels to Tuscaloosa.

Happened to be off for the next two days. Came down last night and spent the night here in Birmingham. Don't wanna be late. Looking forward hitting the road with you guys

To the negative nancies and folks saying we are wasting our time. Stay home and sit with your tin foil hats sucking your thumb. Curl up in the fetal position and pout crying about the Vult in Tuscaloosa. Cry and pout all you want. I'm sure another team will welcome you to root for them. UAB was not built on negativity. It was build by Gene Bartow. Don't disgrace the man with your negativity.


I will be in Tuscaloosa with my fellow Blazers. Hope the thumb tastes good for you.

UAB fans need to stop being our own worst enemy. UAB dies only if we kill it. The BOT can't kill UAB. If they could it would already be dead. get that through your thick skulls. The BOT wants us to kill it not them. The BOT will not run me off.

I just put in for the 2nd and 3rd of February to be off for those days.

We plan on camping out & tailgating.

Me & ms Engineer Plan on being there.

I missed the rally due to a important work conflict, but I have asked off for these dates.
