Lowered expectations are probably the key to sanity right now. It should not be surprising that individuals have shown only moderate progression from last season when we have a coaching change in the off season. It is not only going to take a while for the veterans to learn how Preston wants his team to play, but we don't even have our entire team on the court yet. We are going to struggle for a while, and my hope would be that by the middle of conference play we start to see some better basketball played.

We have some talent, so we should win some games, but to expect us to play solid basketball with a new coach, and some key players we thought we were going to have missing is naive. Glad we won, and hopefully the team can learn from it. Thanks for the updates to everyone who attended the game.
