Unfortunately the Clempsum kicker was unavailable to model--instead the Orange used real Football players.

The look ok, and I really like the old school helments. I was hoping the Orange would wear an orange home jersey. Pointless change overall. It's kind of dumb for a team that plays in a dome to try and go retro.

I like them. I dont understand why playing in a dome has any bearing on a team going retro. Unless of course a dome reflects modern times as opposed to retro uniforms reflecting the past. Is thgat what you mean?

I like them too......both SU and Pitt made solid calls when it comes to uniforms his off season

Unfortunately, in EA Sports' latest batch of Big East pics, they still have you in your old unis. Then again, they also still have ULou sporting their C-USA patch on their jersey. :)

Out with the old, in with the new! I know a lot new coachs come in to there new team and change uniforms. Pertino did it with us, Wandstat (spelling) with Pitt. I guess they put their spin on their new team..

I like them alot. And the idea with the helmets is awesome really brings the pictures I've seen when most teams wore the jersey number on the helmet to mind. Awesome.

I have good memorys from the McNabb ear uni's they've been continuing to use up to this point. Now that SU is embracing the Orange, I wanted Orange home uniforms. Not enough Cuse fans wear orange to games and I think a move to that might help.

AGreed about more SU fans needing to wear Orange. BTW, there will be an all Orange uniform. It has been kept under the wraps but will be brought out for special occasions.

Mu understanding is they are being redesigned with the new material and look. Just 2nd hand info though--take it for what it is worth.

I like them also. The retro look with modern material & strips looks classic. I love the helmets with the numbers on the side.

I am a little unsure about orange jerseys though. Unless they were worn with the white pants we might be a little too fruity out on the field.

I was listening to Gross comments on video from one of the SYR TV stations. He said Nike did a quick turn-around on the uniforms. My understanding is that Nike started this under Jake Crouthamel. Did Gross disapprove of the first new uniforms, and had Nike do a quick redesign?

I definitly don't want the orange paints with the orange jersey. I've been to a couple games with those and they we're really hard on the eyes.



The blue lettering was also very hard to see.

Something like Clemson's orange scheme would make me happy.
