I wonder who will be or new, and biggest rival in the big east? We've always had good games against the bearcats, I looking forward to Playing WVU, which in my mind they are our new biggest rival!
Thoughts anyone?

Pitt or WVU,
I wouldn't say Louisville or Kentucky fans root for each other, most louisville fans hate uk, and like wise.

I think it's going to be West Virginia only because some incredible groundwork was laid with that Elite Eight game in March. The fans sure know of one another by now and I think it's only going to get wilder after the trip to Morgantown this fall. Before the end of next season, I can see the Mountaineers and Cards having no loss of love for one another.

Now MoFo I thought you said this board was picking up? It looks as if your talking to yourself alot......sad really! Just kidding, but by the way we have to prove we can beat WV before we can call it a rivalry. I think you are correct and the first time we down the Eers, watch out. They will be out for blood from then on out. WV fans have been great to UofL for the most part, but they haven't been beat by us yet either. I have a feeling their view will change rather rapidly. I have even noticed a few WV fans trying to knock our old conference and last years schedule. All I can say to that is.......your welcome....Big East just got a extra year on the BCS doomsday clock, thanks to the Cards and their "schedule".

UL can form a good rival with WVU or Pitt but remember....they still have the Keg of Nails vs UC and THAT is THE trophy to win.
Go Bearcats!!
PS: Thanks for the 70-7 butt kicking last year...from what I heard, UC players were showing disrespect at your stadium so it serves em' right.

I am going with WV as #1 and then Uconn as my surprise # 2 pick. We will be battling in out big time on the hoops court from day one and within another couple of years Uconn will be very good at football. The rent is similar to Papa Johns and UConn fans are very fanatical.

My god man, you've used "Are" and "or" in place of "our" in the same post. What kind of school is L'ville? No disrespect, but even my High School English teacher would be "floored!"
GO COOGS! I will root for L'ville in the Big E, as I have developed tremendous respect for your school's progress since the mid-90's. In many respects you're the poster child for programs who look to rise to the next level! Go Cards!
