One of the great WS games that nobody saw
Last nights game 6 has to be one of the greatest WS games of all time. The Cards were down two runs on several occasions late and into extra innings, and on two occasions were down to their last strike. I finally went to bed, but DVR'd it.

An inning later a Cardinal HR to straight away center. Amazing.

I heard ratings for this series in general have been in the tank, but this has been one of the most interesting World Series in years.

It was an entertaining game but mistake filled. Rangers simply choked which of course made it more interesting for everybody except Ranger fans. Not well managed from the TX side either, but even managers make mistakes when under the ultimate pressure. I do not see how TX can possibly win game 7, but these things are very unpredictable. The one thing that gives me hope for the Rangers is that Desaert Bronco picked them to win it and he was right on the Stanley Cup and NBA last year so he must know something.

TV ratings are always going to be down when you (finally) have a World Series without the usual coastal suspects - NY Yankees, Boston, Philadelphia, California, Oakland, San Francisco.

However, I have enjoyed this one a lot. Two evenly matched teams, good pitching, two opposite ballparks (one a hitters park, one not nearly so much).

Last night's game might be one of the great classics of all time. Every time you thought that Texas had finally put them away, back come the Cards. Lots of poor defensive mistakes, though, for a WS.

It was a great contest as Chipdip notes. Great gutcheck by the Cards.
