UL is staring a new basketball series with Miami this year. Next year we will continue starting a football rivalry.
Is this going to be looked down on by the old school Big East teams?

Not at all. And if it does, remind certain fans from Pitt, UConn, and WVU who were giddy over how their lawsuit brought them games with Miami and other ACC teams.
UL, doing it the old fashioned way. Earning it.
Cheers,
Neil

Who cares what the old BE schools think. Louisville has to look out for Louisville.
As long as Louisville isnt thinking of leaving the BE. :D

Maybe Miami is "testing the waters" for a return to the Big East just like Syracuse is with the Big Ten. Wouldn't that be something, leave VT and BC behind in the ACC and rejoin the Big East. I always heard Miami's big complaint was they wanted to expand and throw Temple out.

That'd be funny if that happened. It would never in a million years happen, but it'd be funny. I'd imagine though that BC would follow Miami back to the BE. I could live with that ten-team league of Miami, BC, Pitt, Rutgers, Syracuse, South Florida, Louisville, Connecticut, West Virginia and Cincinnati. That would be funny to see the ACC stuck at ten without their prized posession in Miami.
