Exclamation Pioneer Standings
JU 5-0
Drake 4-1
San Diego 4-1
Dayton 3-2
Campbell 3-2
Butler 2-3
Marist 2-3
Morehead 1-4
Davidson 0-4
Valpo 0-4

How high will we finish this year? It's looking pretty good for CU with the USD win and our remaining schedule (Davidson/Morehead/Valpo). Morehead is a little scary, but if CU continues its current level of play, we'll finish 6-2.

In addition, the teams currently above us will play each other in the weeks ahead....USD at Dayton, JU at Drake, Dayton at Drake, JU at USD.

Win our remaining games and we'll most likely finish tied for 2nd....JU 8-0 & Campbell/Drake/San Diego 6-2!!

I agree. One at a time. We are still a young program that may have a slip up before the end of the year.

As much as I am enjoying our current streak I don't believe we'll run the rest of the table.

RE: Pioneer Standings
I don't see why we can't run the rest of the table. The last four teams on the schedule are the ones we should beat. Had no idea we would beat Marist or San Diego.

We could have and should have beat all of these teams last year - Valpo, Morehead, Davidson and Georgia State. We had two score leads in the 4th quarter on Davidson and Morehead and let them both slip away. We are a better team than anything we have left on the schedule.

If we continue to run the ball well and make good passes and play a little defense and get a few turnovers there is no reason why we can't win the rest of the games this season.

Go Camels. It has taken 3 1/2 years but I think the coaching staff has finally figured it out. The players have always had the heart and wanted it. I am happy for the seniors that they have an opportunity to finish out their careers at Campbell this way. Great for the program.

We are not a young team anymore. We probably have the best offensive line in the conference and one of the best backs and quarterbacks. I know we have the best fullback. Cramer ran well last week.

Ball control with the running game and strategic passes and getting turnovers on defense is a formula for success for CU. That is our brand of football and what we have to do to win and be successful.

While I don't disagree with your assessment of the remaining games of the schedule, I just believe going on a 7 game winning streak is difficult for any team

RE: Pioneer Standings
We should get all kinds of help from JU's, USD's, and Drake's remaining schedules. Let's hope we take advantage of that and take care of things on our end to get the most benefit.

RE: Pioneer Standings
So at this point our best case is to have Marist or JU beat San Diego, put them in a tie at 6-2 with us (assuming Valpo win) and us taking third with the tie-breaker. All things considered, that would not be a terrible finish.
