This is from UKErik, this is some of the funniest sh!t I have seen in a while. Kentucky went 2-9 last year but he thinks they could go 8-3 playing a Big East schedule along with playing Oregon State and UNC OOC.

Maybe not much longer.

Obviously, UK's schedule is on a different level than U of L's. Here's how I think the two teams will do with their 2005 schedule and how the other team would do with the opponents schedule.

Kentucky vs. the 2005 U of L schedule (sub U of L for UK)
at Louisville: loss
Oregon State: win (OSU lost a ton on offense, the game would be at home)
South Florida: win
Florida Atlantic: win
North Carolina: win (lost a ton from last years 6-6 team)
at West Virginia: loss (though they lost on offense)
at Cincinnati: win (lost QB, leading RB, leading WR)
Pittsburgh: loss
Rutgers: win
Syracuse: win
at Connecticut: win (QB gone and o-line will allegedly be awfull)
(Overall Record of 8-3)

I remember a lousy 7-4 SU team beat those clowns a fews year ago in Music City Bowl. James Mongro ran through them like a hot knife in butter

Maybe some UL fans can answer this one...but why is UK so bad in football? They certainly have the financial resouces to be good and kentucky has produced some pretty good high school football talent the last few yrs....what is the problem in Lexinton??

Actually it was a mediocre 6-5 team beat UK at the Music City Bowl ater the 1999 season. I was there. Cuse's big break (no pun intended) was when UK's AA TE went down early with a nasty elbow dislocation. It sucked the life out of UK. I'll give them this--they traveled in an outstanding fashion to Nashville. I would love to have UK in the Big East. It won't happen since SEC $$$ is too good compared to the BE.

They are at the bottom of the SEC, a traditional loser with little upward mobility. They also lack institutional control so that any hint of success in the football program usually means they are cheating again. Their fans are gluttons for punishment and are by far the most fun to pound into the dirt. They begged for mercy the year before last when there was controversy over us scoring a late TD, then this past season we take a knee with the clock winding down on the 2 yard line and they cry that we were disrespecting them when we pounded them 28-0 with a vanilla offense. On top of the whining about the knee after such a big deal was made of the late TD the year before many of their fans hang their hat on and openly brag that they held Louisville to its lowest point output of the season. Screw UK, I hope petrino drops the A-Bomb on them this season.

Check out this highlight video of last seasons game.

They have an athletic director that made one of the all time worst hires of any BCS school EVER.

Plus they cheat, and cheat, and cheat, and cheat, and cheat some more.

Actually it's not that far-fetched to think UK could go 8-3 against that schedule.

Only problem for them is that Rich Brooks isn't capable of leading UK to an 8-3 mark in any conference.

UK has talent but the problem is they are all Fr and Soph. They also have the lowest amount of returning starters then anyone in the $EC. Against that schedule they would be lucky to win 5 games, they are that bad.

Honestly, you can't possibly have watched UK that much and said that with a straight face.

They lost to Ohio people, Kentucky sucks unless they are cheating and then they are medicore

Those UK fans are smoking some good weed. I really think if they played UK's schedule or played in the BE, they would be one of the bottom feeders in the BE.

I think a 3-8 schedule is very realistic and there is no way in hell they go 8-3. Someone needs to knock some reality into those guys. Just because they play some tough teams in the SEC and lose just about every time, it does not mean they are a good team. Keep in mind even the lowly RU beat Vandebilt last year.

OK what is good week?

And while I did say it's not too far-fetched to think UK could go 8-3 with UL schedule, I know it would be about as likely as UK beating UAB in basketball!

Ok wrong spelling. Sub week for weed or crack or whatever is in Lexington. Bottom line is UK will be a bottom feeder in last year's BE or this year's, there is no different. Bottom half of the teams in the SEC blows, there is no way a team that cant beat Ohio can be 8-3 in the BE. Please keep in mind even UCONN smoked the MAC champ at their home turf (Detroit is like 1 hour away or something) 39-10. I dont care what the excuse was, UCONN was just a better team top to bottom than Toledo. Toledo was their champ last year. Could Ky beat Toledo last year? I doubt it when they get smoked at home by Ohio.

Ky fans need to wake up sometimes. SEC is not center of football universe nor is any other league.

UK would be just as bad in the BE. If they had Louisville's schedule for this year I see it like this (and they'd play Louisville in lieu of themselves):
vs. Louisville - L
vs. Oregon State - L
@ South Florida - L
vs. Florida Atlantic - W
vs. North Carolina - L
@ West Virginia - L
@ Cincinnati - L
vs. Pitt - L
vs. Rutgers - L
vs. Syracuse - L
@ Connecticut - L

I see a 1-10 season not 8-3 for a team thats that bad.

Vanderbilt normally wins 2 or 3 games a year. Kentucky beat them by one in Lexington. Two years ago, Vanderbilt won in Nashville.

I have no idea why Kentucky is so consistently bad in football. I think they've only had 3 winning seasons in the last 20 years.
