I think the most fascinating game will be WMU @ EMU.

Weather will be good for passing (WMU) and running (EMU).

In a sense, this is a 'classic' game between a team which can throw for a ton but give up a ton on the ground.

Versus a team which can run for a ton on the ground but give up a ton in the air.

EMU's offense appears to be about as healthy as one could expect at this point in the season.

EMU ran wild against what I think was a banged up CMU DL.

EMU fans feel this could be their most important game in many, many years.

A win will stamp the program as having been built and ready to compete within the MAC for bowl bids.

The other thing will be attendance. It is possible for today's game could be surprisingly but I don't know if the 'bandwagon effect' has started yet.

It could with an EMU win today...

EMU is a solid team Toledo won the meeting solidly but EMU was impressive.

Toledo is a break or two from being a top 25 team. I note what 'Cuse did to WVU last night!!

EMU can play with CMU, WMU, etc. but not UT.

My prediction - WMU 31, EMU 20

We started finally playing our offense on our first drive of the 2nd qtr. First qtr was abnormal playcalling for NIU.

Suicide found inside of the Akron football stadium early this morning. Not a student. Good thing the game is at 3:30.

Great defense by EMU including LBs making great drops and very nice coverage by the DBs.
