As for dropping 2 in order to get them aboard: Look at what Gillespie is doing at Tx Tech....THAT is roster turnover that exceeds even Ingle.....not that there's anything wrong with that....until you start losing scholly's...

Why we havent locked Murphy up with a scholly is still beyond me. Also i think North Florida is looking at him as well, and i remember his dad saying South Carolina contacted him once recently.

Probably due to Murphy seeing what bigger fish come calling rather than effort by the Owls. Sounds like his Dad sees him at a bigger campus than at the our little shire...... when Dad throws out South Carolina, it tells me he may think "his son" is a top tier player. He may be?

Does anyone have any information on 2013 recruit Bakari Copeland(6'5 205 SG), kid is a great shooter and he has the grades. Could be a possible steal, he has no offers yet but if we offer him first its possible we could land him.

Little bit of inside news on some of the new guys. Greg Murphy Sr told me his son played some open gym games with some of our new guys and current team. Murphy did well, and Yonel apparently did very well too. But quoting Greg Murphy jr. "Morena and Kouassi are beasts". Apparently they dominated, Kouassi especially.

Please don't take this the wrong way, cause I really like our recruiting class, but beasts in open gym vs. high school kids/pick up ball is way different than game time. I've seen many a guy that to the uneducated eye, seem like talented players. Put them in a game and you get zero. Not saying this is what it was, but temper all expectation for a little bit. Saying that, I have seen Yonel play and the kid is darn good....

Absolutely. its just slow around here, so just letting ppl know the new guys are playing. I do have high expectations for Kouassi though. Thats some rare height length and agility for the ASUN.

And agreed, Yonel can ball. And bold prediction for next year...we will have more wins then last year

Not listed on that roster are 3 incoming freshmen that were previously announced as signed recruits: 6'4" guard Cameron Jones, 6'4" guard Jordan Montgomery, and, most importantly 6'7" 195 forward Brandon Williams, ranked 88 by ESPN, tied with Jacksonville's Jarvis Haywood for the highest ESPN ranking of any ASun freshmen.

Do you still expect these 3 guys to be there in the fall?
