Kraft Fight Hunger Bowl-Toledo vs Syracuse? Might be a good ratings getter. It would be a great story for the media.

Be prepared to hold your nose when there are not enough bowl eligible teams and they let 3 or 4 bowls fill spots with 5-7 AQ teams.

MAC vs. MAC is probably more likely than ever, also, the way things are playing out.

No chance of happening.

The Kraft bowl does not have an agreement with the Big East this year.

Primary P12 & Army
Secondary ACC
Last resort MAC & WAC

I am going to guess that Toledo will go to the GMAC bowl against Arkansas St.

They will first let any 6-7 teams that have one or less FCS win.
Next any 6-7 teams with two FCS wins.
Finally any 6-6 teams that have two FCS wins.

If this does not fill all the slots then there will be problems.

The bowls will broker deals between eachother and the conferences so that teams from the same conference will not play each other. If it does happen though it would be with teams that did not face each other that year.

So we could see a bowl game with Toledo vs Ohio, NIU vs Temple or EMU vs BGSU...fantastic :-(

People want to see toledo play. No one will be seeing a MAC vs MAC with Toledo.

Agreed but it could happen is the point.

Again I think Toledo will be playing in the GMAC vs Arkansas St. I mean Go Daddy Bowl!

If toledo doesn't win the west it could happen I guess.

That is my Bowl guess with Toledo winning the West and the MACC.
GoDaddy gets to pick first form the MAC teams and Toledo will be happy to play in the South to help recruiting more so than Detroit or Boise.

Relax. No one knows enough about the MAC to know that EMU v BG is an intraconference game.

Am I crazy or would EMU v BG actually sell a decent amount of tickets in Detroit?

Every bowl eligible MAC program will be bowling this year, too many conferences that won't have enough bowl eligible teams along with Army & Navy not getting 6 W's. It's going to be an exciting bowl season for the conference.

RE: MAC has 8 bowl tie ins
12 PAC for example will have only 5 bowl eligible teams because USC is still on probation. CUSA has only 4 with 4 or more wins. Big 12 will have 7 at most. Big 10 could have 9 but as few as 7 if Purdue & OSU can't suck it up and pull out some wins in the final 5 weeks.
