It's rather astonishing to see an established, entertaining and well-liked Big East forum poster like Wilkie being questioned by Memphis, Houston, and Boise noobs. What has happened to the neighborhood? 01-wingedeagle

Dunno. Maybe you should leave the 'hood and never come back. Lots of people would celebrate.

Some do not want to hear the truth. The Big East is a better place for Temple, Memphis, Central Florida, SMU, Houston, Boise State and San Diego State than where they currently are in. But it is not a better than the ACC would be for Rugters and UConn, nor a better place than the Big 12 would be for Louisville and Cincinnati. South Florida is in a best place for its program in the Big East. The Big East is great for Notre Dame, also. The Big East was better than the MAC, CUSA or the Sun Belt for Louisville. So we will love the Big East until the Big 12 move happens. Gentlemen and gentle-ladies people change jobs for better salaries and benefits. Conference schools due the same thing, its a fact of life. Get your collective heads out of the sand. I know every one of your schools would leave for conferences like the Big 10, Big 12. Pac 12, ACC or SEC, if asked. So quit be dishonest with your common-sense, you are coming to the Big to get more money and benefits. But you are all acting schocked that Pitt, Cuse, and West virginia did it and Louisville is working on it. And by the way, I keep hearing how Louisville is not needed. So I ask why do you care that me may leave? 03-lmfao

THIS!

Unlike ivet's usual tactics across this BBS system, I can't recall seeing Wilkie making a habit of running down other teams to make his look better. Wilkie has always been a promoter of what is best for Louisville....if that pissed off the fans of conference mates then that is their problem.

Wilkie and I have not always seen eye to eye, but I would be more than happy to share a tailgate with him.

I enjoy your post too. If we ever play let me know if your coming. You are more than welcome at our tailgate.

For those of you that are getting your feelins hurt by simple discussion. I say you are pretty thin skinned. You do not know what football smack is because I have not picked on anybody.

It says that you finished 7-6 in a bad league. Good job.
