ACC/B1G Challenge
So what happens with this? This is the first year all teams get to play, but soon the ACC will again have more teams. Have to figure they play their best cards and never leave out Duke, UNC, UMD, Cuse, or Pitt.

They always cut the bottom off. Goes by previous year's standings so 13th and 14th are left out.

So Wake and GT would be left out this year. That's harsh. Necessary, I suppose, but harsh.

I bet they find you some other OOC game to replace it if you don't qualify.

Maybe they sacrifice them to WVU and UConn? Must appease Big East rage...

That's a much better way of doing it. The Big East picks teams a random. For the Big East/SEC challenge this year we have DePaul, Providence, and Seton Hall playing.

Sounds like a crappy knockoff of the ACC challenge.
The B1G and ACC just line the teams up from top to bottom. I believe there are some adjustments made as to who had home and away games last year because we have alternated each year.

Also, this is the second time all teams have gotten to play. They all did in 2004 before BC came aboard I believe.

Actually, the Big East ACC Challenge was the original.

It was also the best, both conferences were deep and great.
