Occupy <your city here>
Well the Occupy idiots finally hit Charlotte NC this past weekend. They plan to linger through Tuesday infesting the grounds around the old city hall building. These clueless morons have NO idea what they are protesting. Ask three people get three answers:

"I'm protesting Health Care, I think everyone should be taken care of"

"I'm protesting Corporate Greed, these companies got gubment bailouts why do they want to make profits when people are hurting." 01-wingedeagle

"I'm protesting about the treatment of old people... that and jobs."

The scariest part of these protests... these idiots are allowed to vote. Clearly they must be racist too, I see mostly young white people. That and a few older white people that look like leftovers from the 1970's peace movement.

300-500 protestors in the day, but only 15-30 people stayed overnight at Government Plaza in Mpls last night.

Legs, this thing does not have.

my friend was in a tux on his way to a wedding and one of the protestors threw an egg at him. My friend doesn't even work on Wall St. He was just in the area for the reception

If I were him if the guilty party couldn't be identified, I'd pick a random bum from the crowd, swear it was them and insist they be arrested for simple assualt. Once their name is on record sue them into next year for the fun of it.

It's getting about time for We-Saw-You-Now-Pack-Up-Your-Crap-And-Go-Home rallies.

It would only need a few hours. I suspect the numbers would be too large to be reported accurately.

RE: Occupy <your city here>
150 to 200 are camping out in a downtown Atlanta park, which the protesters have renamed "Troy Davis Park" (not kidding). During the day there are more protesters.

There are laws about urban camping in Atlanta, and I doubt they'll be allowed there more than 2 more nights. The police have stated that they're giving them a chance to leave peaceably. I haven't seen reports of any kind of violence.

I think they planned a march to the Bank of America Tower this week. If it was today or yesterday, the weather likely snuffed out a lot of support.

One morning radio show interviewed an observer from Ga State who said he was just down there to see what they had to say. The convo went something like this. (again, not a joke)
Student: "It seems they're just trying to get support for the people who pay the bulk of the taxes in the US, the 99%."
Host: "You mean the top 5%."
S: "Really?"
H: "Yeah, the top 5% pay just about half of the taxes in the US."
S: "Oh."

Thirty pathetic losers in the parking lot of the downtown baseball stadium in Norfolk, VA. If they are still there next April when the baseball season starts I'm sure someone will notice them.

Listen to the end, this is about the 5th time I've heard this chant. Every time the goons don't get their way they yell "Che, Che, Che!!"

Clueless f'n Marxists who have no IDEA what Che was about. This isn't about some perceived injustice; it's about bringing down Capitalism. Nothing more, nothing less. Again, 99% my ass.

I'd buy the guy/gal who pepper-sprayed Medea Benjamin's dumb*** a 5-course meal if I knew who it was.

BTW, there goes the "CHEEEEEE, CHEEEEE, CHEEEEE!" for the 6th time. Bunch of dirty, smelly, hippie Marxists.

They tried to enter National Air and Space Museum to protest a Special Exhibit of Drones/UAVs on display.

After the Pepper Spray they should rename their group to "Code Stink"..

RE: Occupy <your city here>
While this is going on I went to drill, went to class, and I'm now waiting on a marketing contract from an overseas construction company. In those three things I've made money, prepared myself to make more money, and getting assurance that money will be coming my way in the near future.

In that same time the Occupiers have bitched, moaned, and complained. They have made no money, aren't preparing themselves to make more money, and are assuring that they won't make any more money in the near future.

What makes us so different?
