Our friend and reporter Jim Hagen is in NJ this week to watch some of the best high schoolers showcase their skills to coaches and scouts. See how Derrick Carracter, OJ Mayo, Earl Clark, and others are faring in this week's all-star event.

I don't know if the Courier Journal used you as a source, but they also listed Mayo's list in Sunday's paper and their list did not have Ohio St but did have Cincy on it. Do you think Oden's signing with OSU might sway them? Probably not since he'll most likely be there for one year only and then gone before they start. By the way the CJ list was:
UofL
UConn
Cincy
Texas
Syracuse
Florida A&M? wonder what the story is behind that one.
A real heavy Big East flava and no ACC teams. Traditionally this high a profile player always seem obligated to list NC and Duke. I love it.

I don't think Oden will have any influence whatsoever on Mayo's decision. The way the kid is talking, I seriously see him becoming that first high schooler to go the NBDL route. He can sign a big shoe deal, give some NBDL franchise HUGE ticket sales for a year, and then become a lottery pick at 19. MAYO is what Pitino has been referring to when he says the age limit really doesn't help.

I think ( and hope) Cincy will land Mayo. Even though Huggs might not be there. I would take him for 1 season.
