Week 6 Bowl Projections
ESPN's Week 6 Bowl Projections - ACC

Discover Orange Bowl: Clemson

Chick-fil-A Bowl: Georgia Tech

Champs Sports Bowl: Florida State

Hyundai Sun Bowl: Virginia Tech

Belk Bowl: North Carolina

Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl: Miami

Advocare V100 Independence Bowl: Wake Forest

Military Bowl Presented by Northrop Grumman: Maryland

------------------
A couple of thoughts:
1) I'm still amazed at the number of minor bowls that exist.
2) Military Bowl for this year is ACC vs Navy. While I'd love to see Maryland get a better bowl, I would also rather see them play Navy in DC for the Crab Bowl trophy.
3) I'm not sure that Clemson can keep up with this pace.

They usually don't. It's what their best known for the last 20 years. Beat a great opponent or 2 and then lose a head scratcher or 2. I think this is their year though. Dabo always saying were not a great team and such is keeping them motivated. They played great defense last week. If they can keep doing that, I think they'll win out. GT will always be a ? mark though. Who knows with that flexbone.

Chris... The description of Clemson sounds eerily similar to Pitt these past few years.

Clemson is known for winning too. They've only had 1 below .500 season since 99, just they're very inconsistant. Under multiple coaches. It's why Kirk Hearbstreet was saying 'and that's why your Clemson'.

Since we're on the topic of bowls.... When the Big Easts contract with the Pinstripe Bowl runs out, the ACC will be one of the two tie ins right?

Interesting ???... Would be nice to see it being a ACC vs B1G Bowl. I'd hate to see the BE lose it though.

No Florida State + Clemson and Virginia Tech at home? This will be Georgia Tech's conference to lose...

I'm looking forward to the VT@GT game already. Of course if we lose to Miami this week, it'll mean a lot less. I'm hoping for a 1 loss VT and a 0 or 1 loss GT team.

it would definitely suck for the Big East, but i think the Pinstripe people want an "East" team. And now that the ACC is more so the East conference than what ever the Big East ends up as, i think it makes more sense they'd prefer ACC over Big East

If Rutgers or UConn comes in to the ACC...I think it would be an automatic.

I think an ACC vs B10 Pinstripe Bowl would be a homerun. Or ACC vs Big East would be a homerun too (assuming the BE doesn't contract further)
