Guess that's all you guys have left anymore..
3 titles since you hired Cubit.
Even the sun shines on a dog's a$$ some days. I see you WMU fans are enjoying your time in the sun.
Yep. You guys are really sitting pretty with Dan "get your head out of your" Enos.
You know, I'll take seven years of class and doing things the right way (while winning more than our share), over the win at all costs, questionable program that your stepping-stone guys promoted. I was (and still really am) not happy with the CMU record and lack of titles, but looking around, I wouldn't trade our coaching situation for anybody else's in the league save possibly Ohio. Keep the program at a high MAC level and the titles will come.
Oh, I've been waiting for this self-righteous argument to pop up. Like Jimmies Swaggart & Baker, wmnBROwNCOwpilot has written his own obituary:
"wmnBROwNCOwpilot, apparently veered off course before skipping off the roof top of CMU's tool shed, and colliding with a 4-ton support pylon for CMU's jumbotron. No damage to the tool shed, and minor paint damage to the pylon. Tim Allen, as a condition of community service, will repair the paint damage. The plane, with the exception of the cockpit, was totally destroyed. wmuBROwNCOwpilot, age unknown, apparently after years of outward portrayal of decent, upstanding living, had it essentially erased from everyone's memory Monday, when his body, wearing only a red wig and heavy eyeliner, was discovered on the cockpit floor surrounded by dozens of sixteen-year-old magazine cutouts of Gillian Anderson. Thank you for flying wmuBROwNCOw airlines. P.S. There will be a luggage littering charge to the estate."

That is like the difference between CUSA and the Sun Belt.
Does it have any practical value? Not really.

It shows how much harder it is to go undefeated in the West as opposed to the East.

Everyone: Remember this when he goes on his next spiel about how we're so much more awesome than other conferences.

RE: Sunday morning Week 5 Sagarins
well, you guys do have to admit we've been through this before. i think the West is the better division in football (at least it seems that way); but, we can't discount the fact that the East champ has pulled off more than one upset in the MAC title game lately.

The titles will come when? Between Solich and Cubit they are 0 for 12 for MAC titles in their collective years as head coaches. Questionable program? There have been off field issues but keep in mind we (along with BGSU, KSU, Ohio and WMU) are one of the few NCAA programs without any major NCAA violations.

Yeah.. and Brian Kelly hasn't violated any NCAA rules at ND either (or at least hasn't been caught).. still would hesitate to call that a clean program right now. Certainly not classy.
Enos seems to be straight-edge, at least. Too bad he can't coach his way out of a wet paper bag, and may as well be wearing green and white from the way he talks half the time.
As for when the titles will come? I'm not prescient. There comes a time.. let's just say if Cubit can't put together a championship team this year or next, there's not any more excuse. He gets the talent here, but it's gotta be done. I believe his contract is done after next year, and I would fully support parting ways if we don't have rings by then. And this is coming from a guy who really likes Cubit.
But right now, I'm feeling pretty good about our chances. And so would you, in our shoes.

Cubit is the perfect rival MAC coach. Good records, beats BCS teams, has a losing record against his rival, can't get over the hump and win it all (so far), and (most importantly) fans are satisfied with him. He's good for the conference.

I wouldn't know, Mr. Clickety-Clack. Unlike you, I've never worn horseshoes.
