EMU folks are psyched for the Akron game. Must be something about trying to be undefeated in MAC play (IF we win). EMU fans want to see how their team performs in the MAC after playing UofM and PSU the last two weeks.

Despite the scores, the defense held UofM/PSU to a COMBINED 3 points during the first quarter of the two games. (PSU got the 3 points. UofM got zipped).

The offense was very inconsistent but the defense made plays against Big Ten foes which NO one would have expected last season.

EMU is banged up on offense.

I expect EMU to win easily. Akron looks to be very bad.
