That's why Strength of Schedule comes into play in the Sagarins. So that is accounted for when ranking the teams. Toledo has 2 wins, but they have played the 12th best schedule in the country, which keeps em up at the 60 mark.

So do several other factors that you didn't mention. It's a poor system.

The latest Sagarin ratings are out. Troy leads the Sun Belt at 78 with La Lafayette just behind at 80.

No doubt that Clempson and Arky are propping us up right now.

The amazing thing is that Wofford has given Clemson their toughest game this year. Wofford had Clemson on the ropes and were driving the ball down 1 point with 7 minutes to go before Clemson finally won by 8. Wofford is a solid team as they beat App St 28-14 yesterday. Their #70 Sagarin rating is legitimate whether they are FBS or FCS.

That's because they've been the only ones that have actually tried and stuck with the run against them. Their run defense was suspect, to me, after we played them. But, when your philosophy is "pass first," you run into these issues from time-to-time.

36 Temple A = 77.62 5 2 63.08( 103) 0 0 | 0 1 | 71.87 51 | 84.44 17
41 Toledo A = 75.87 4 3 72.17( 28) 0 1 | 0 1 | 71.99 49 | 79.16 34

101 Bowling Green A = 61.17 3 4 63.73( 98) 0 0 | 0 1 | 58.51 110 | 62.54 93

Temple's predictor is at 17th. I don't think any WAC team or SBC team will be beating the MAC Champ this year.

I would love to see the SBC champ get a chance to play Temple. I think that if UL and Temple would win out, it would be 2 top 25 teams meeting in a bowl game.

Temple is strong this year, but the loss to Toledo proves they aren't untouchable. I can't remember does the MAC send their champ to Mobile every year, or do you guys alternate between two bowls like we do?

Alternate, MACC goes to LCB this year.
and Temple is touchable because they lost to the best team in the conference. Toledo could be 5-1 with a loss to Boise state if it wasn't for reprimanded refs who sucked against OSU who we lost to by 5. And the Syracuse refs who blew the extra point call in that game. Doesn't matter because we're 4-3, but Toleo is better than their record and they played very stellar opponents.

Predictor means nothing on the football field at this time of the season.

Not a knock on Toledo, but it is a blemish on an otherwise very impressive resume for Temple. Temple otherwise hasn't been tested outside of Penn State(a game they should have won), Toledo though also impressive, shows that Temple can be beaten by an above average non-AQ.

And it wasn't until Friday's not top ten that I saw how that Syracuse game actually ended(I had watched a bit of it the day of the game) tough luck to your Rockets. That's a really crappy way to lose a game, we haven't had anything quite that egregious but in 2010 we fumbled on the kick return of what could have started a game tying drive in the final minutes against Minnesota. The fumble was challenged and the ruling on the field upheld, the next day the front page of the newspaper had a picture of the return man with his butt clearly on the ground and the ball still clearly in his hand. In 2007 we had a bad ball spot late in the fourth quarter force us to punt to Virginia(when a first down would have allowed us go to victory formation) and they ended up being able to kick a game winning field goal as time expired.
