I am a road jinx.
NU twice, Wisconsin twice, Illinois twice , BGSU once , Ball State once , WMU twice , Turdledo once, plus Dirtroit twice.
The only road W I witnessed was Silicon Valley Bowl.....and wins at Bradley and ISU in the dark ages.
Keep me as far from Mt P as possible.

RE: CMU game
Hence, you now see the reason why my wife and I will no longer be attending any games outside of Huskie Stadium. I'm just tired of it - at least for now. It gets expensive, and who wants continually walk out of the game in a state of deep depression and with your tail between your legs? At least seeing a loss in Huskie Stadium will not cost me incrementally more money, and I can commiserate with thousands of my fellow Huskie fans.

"You" don't have an awful road record. [b]This is EXHIBIT A for why I shall NEVER understand the fascination some of you have with the out-of-conference portion of the schedule and insistence on playing BCS schools. Some are bat-**** crazy with their OOC obsession...how that can be when NIU losses 90% of these football games is beyond me.
What matters is winning MAC football games. Period. End of subject.

If you guys would attend some MAC road games you would see some wins. Those road trips are as fun if not more fun than going to the big OOC games.

Those of us who have a "fascination" with playing BCS schools have a fascination with getting the occasional school that somebody has heard of playing at HUSKIE STADIUM, not as a road game. You play some of those at home, you win, if for no other reason than you don't get jobbed by officials. Sure, if we play Wisconsin or Ohio State at home we still lose, but they won't come to DeKalb anyway.

Call Jerry up and see if he can get that going since he has some free time the next few days.
They are open for an away game in 2016, 2017, 2019 or 2022+.
