Not everyone from BG feels the same. In fact, I think the variety of opinions transcend any loyalty.

When a MAC team gets screwed, we all get hurt. How to resolve that is where the disagreement begins. But we all get hurt more if we let this strife grow and extend beyond the sports rivalries.

I agree not everyone feels that way, but you have to agree that there are some in BG that would wish ill-will on the Toledo program at any expense.

And vice versa.

Maybe, but I don't recall anyone saying something publicly before.

I will. BGSUCKS!!! See you on 10/15/11 in the Doyt where I wish you Falcons lots of ill-will!!!

Guys, there's still 2 more games for each team before the Battle of I-75. Make sure there's some disconforting trash talk left for the week before the game. 03-wink

I heard a Syracuse sports writer said they're the best 3-1 team in the country and would have beat USC too if the refs would have called holding on 5 of USC touchdowns.

Toledo is the best 1-3 team going today...they could be a 2-2 team if their coach had a little faith in their offense

Or we'd be 3-1 if it weren't for the refs.

Now we'll hear your bull$h!t about me saying this. Even though the MAC/Little 11 Supervisor of Refs issued a letter of reprimand to the refs form the UT/0$U, which goes to show that the refs in that game were horrible.

RE: Toledo Should Just Mark It A Win
The NCAA vacating the game, while subsequently declaring that both teams would be bowl eligible if they finished with a 5-6 record (or treated as a 7 win team should they finish 6-5) seems like such an OBVIOUS solution.

It's not a conference game, and neither team is going to the NCAA title game anyway, so it only really matters for bowl eligibility.

Makes too much sense .......
