Apparently Dukie V didn't get the memo that the reason the BE was stuck with this bizarro unbalanced scheduling was two-fold:

ESPN's contract with the league and the BE presidents not wanting to expand the league schedule to 18 games. If not for the TV contract, there probably would only have been one 'mirror' opponent and playing everyone else once.

The big question is does Dukie V kiss up to the Big East now that it is unquestionably the top conference in hoops? For years he has said the ACC is hands down the best conference. Guess what Dukie? There's a new sheriff in town, known as the Big East Conference!!!
