It's time to make a play for the SoCon
ASU voted to move up to BCS football so it's only a matter of them finding a new home before a new spot will automatically open in the SoCon. Now it is inevitable that some rather dim-witted etsu fans will put their heart and soul into the false hope that a new president will come along and get etsu in ASU's old spot. News Flash to them. Not going to happen. No football...No entry.

Kennesaw has already started the process of acquiring scholarship football. My advice to all of you is to do whatever you can to start urging the fanbase to make some noise over the possibility of taking the ASU spot.

NOTHING, sports related, on this earth would please me more.

Get to it.

Not a bad idea. Southern is really the perfect fit for Kennesaw. We could find a real home there and grow our fanbase, develop rivalries. Would be a great landing spot. I am sure our administration is already looking into the possibility.

Ha, You must forgive me. I'm not used to competent administrations.

That does seem to be a natural fit.
I also think Davidson should go to the Atlantic Sun, maybe they could work a deal.

Not in ten million years.

Speaking of football. Any updates? Hiring of a coach, etc? When is your first season planned again?

I believe I saw recently that the league of the women's soccer team that plays at your stadium may be going under? Is this true? If so, any effect on KSU football? Will it expedite the process? Slow the process?

Just curious.

Going under really? I always thought it unwise to gamble on women's soccer.
