Later in the article, it says the car actually is registered to the coach's son, who is a walk-on player and the friend of the drunken driver. If true, might be nothing to this beyond a minor embarrassment for Locksley. Who should already be plenty embarrassed about his team's record, not to mention harrassing the secretary, etc, etc.

Actually the fired UNM coach also assaulted an assistant coach, sexually harassed his first secretary and then the car/drunk driving episode. The fact that he was 2-26, lost on homecoming to a FCS team, and had decreasing home attendance had nothing to do with his firing.
