Had he hit one more, he would have tied the NCAA record. He had the opportunity to do so, but we showed mercy and took a knee for the victory formation.

Just under 28k, but there was rain so that number is slightly inflated to include tickets sold. Real number was around 25-26k.

Either way, over 25,000 fans have shown up to cheer on ASU in our last two home games. Neither Memphis nor UCA traveled many fans.

First of all I'm very pro-ASU, pro-SBC on any non-SBC board, and on this board. Like all the SBC teams and mostly just provide info. The readers here can judge for themselves.

I don't post on any ASU board because I really do not consider myself a ASU fan anymore, and that is the only reason.

My mildly negative comments about ASUs on their performance during the 1st half apparently, pale in comparison to what Freeze had to say to them at half time. Maybe Freeze is the guy to help them find "it". If he is that is great for the SBC and ASU.

Our crowd was AWESOME considering how 'fair weather' they are.

It was raining, but it never got too bad. Since it was on TV, I'd imagine a lot stayed home to watch it.
