I recently purchased a copy of Magnum Pro Football. This magazine is a line players bible as far as wagering goes. What I found most interesting was at the back of the pro football edition is a section of bonus content about college football from a wagering stand point. The teams are listed Akron to Wyoming with capsules on each program results for the last 5 years, ATS,O/U and Straight-up. Now I don't wager much but I do enjoy reading the opinions of those who are smart enough (and brave enough) to do it for a living. It's one thing for some journalist to place a team here or there in some poll based upon popular opinion but quite another when professional game players think highly of your team.
One of the details that the magazine refers to is the StatFox Power Poll. Unfortunately the poll is not included in the bonus content so I had to assemble it myself with the information given.
StatFox Power Poll.

In the magazine it mentions the StatFox website and as it turns out they have just did a Big East Preview, so I attached the link.
BTW as for this season opponents, this magazine believes #27 Pitt will be Louisville's toughest out and #93 FAU will be the easiest, just ahead of #86 UK.
As for other Big East programs...

What a mess. After UL, the preseason polls have USF everywhere from 4th to last. And they've jumbled all the other teams around too. I've seen UCONN in 3rd and 7th! I've even seen Pitt pretty low.
Well, on the bright side, SOMEBODY is going to be right, even if they just threw darts
